Celebration of world day of grandparents and the elderly

On the 22nd of July 2023, the Parish celebrated for the first time the day for grandparents and the elderly in a grand style.  The day began with the celebration of Holy Mass after which various activities like painting and dancing were undertaken to entertain the elderly. A total of about 39 elderly over the age of 60 years participated in the celebration. Gifts from the Parish were distributed to all present. The successful organisation of the memorable day for the grandparents and the elderly was spearheaded by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
