On Saturday 3rd August 2024, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of our parish celebrated the World day for Grandparents and the Elderly with our homebound parishioners and elderly around the parish.
It is said that in the cycle of life, we all walk on fours in the morning, twos during the day and threes at night, no one gets through any stage without community, family and support. This is why the SVDP Society came together as one to share a moment of fun, laughter and camaraderie, bringing life, goodwill and great cheer to the lives of old and young alike.
Our parents and grandparents had fun but so did we all, because as the saying goes, “It is good and pleasant for brothers to dwell in unity.”
We say thank you to all who made it, supported us and wished us every possible blessing along the way, to make the day a resounding success.
